Kathy coordinates sustainability programs and leads engineering, green building, facilities & energy management/strategic energy procurement for Whole Foods Market. She was a founding Steering Committee member for U.S. DOE’s Better Buildings Alliance, and along with being a founding member of EPA’s Green Chill Program, she coordinates additional EPA Program Partnerships.
Kathy was named one of Progressive Grocer's Top Women in Grocery in 2013 and was elected one of Massachusetts’ High Tech Council’s Women to Watch in 2012. She has keynoted and presented at many national and international sustainability, energy and retail conferences, and has guest lectured at many universities and colleges.
She holds a BSME from WPI and is a member of the Boards of The Green Building Initiative and former Chair of the Board of Clean Air-Cool Planet. She is a member of WPI’s Mechanical Engineering External Advisory Board, Massachusetts Maritime Academy's Energy Advisory Council and the town of Scituate's Renewable Energy Commission.
